LEAVING HERE is a short film that takes place on New Year's Eve, 1999. Zack is just getting off work at 11 minutes to midnight when he gets a call from his girlfrend. She wants him to make it to the party she's at so they can kiss at the stroke of 12. Zack doesn't think he'll be able to make it. Then Zack's friend gets on the phone and bets him $100 he can't make it to the party, kiss his girl, and also bring a bottle of champagne. And it's off to the races.

LEAVING HERE was made in August of 2004 in Asheville, NC, and features Jeremy Hargroves, Jason Smith, Francesca Garvey, John Ferrer, and Hunter King as well as music by Joe, John, Aubrey, Adam Cullum, and Luke Harris. It was shot by Greg Hudgins and edited by Nathan Whiteside.
